What currencies does Airalo support?

You can purchase eSIM packages on Airalo with multiple currencies, making it easier to use local payment methods. 

As of August 2024, Airalo supports the following currencies:

  • United States dollar (USD) $
  • Australian dollar (AUD) $
  • Canadian dollar (CAD) $
  • Euro (EUR) €
  • Pound sterling (GBP) £

You can change currencies from “Profile” on mobile devices and in the Airalo app. On desktop devices, you can change currencies from the top navigation. For more information, read our help center article on how to update your currency

What if I don’t see my preferred currency?

You can still purchase eSIM packages on Airalo, even if your preferred currency is not supported. 

If you make a purchase with a payment method that differs your selected currency, your payment will be subject to the conversion rate used by your bank or financial institution — you may also be subject to international fees.

What is my default currency?

The default currency shown may change depending on your device or location. 

  • For mobile devices, the shown currency will be determined by the locale in your device settings.
  • For desktop devices, the shown currency will be auto-detected based on your IP address.

If you’re signed in to an Airalo account, the currency shown will be the last currency used or selected. For example — if you updated your currency from USD to EUR, you’ll see EUR whenever you sign in.
