Not all Google Pixel models are eSIM-compatible, so it's a good idea to check that your device supports eSIMs before getting started. Please follow the steps in this article to check if your Pixel device supports eSIM.
Once you have confirmed that your Google Pixel device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked, you can follow these steps to set up an eSIM.
I. Preparation
- LOGIN to your Airalo account.
- GO to My eSIMs.
- TAP the Details button on the eSIM you wish to install.
- TAP Install eSIM/Access Data.
- CHOOSE your preferred installation method by tapping Direct, QR Code, or Manual. For QR Code or Manual, please use a different device to display the QR code or copy the installation code.
II. Direct Installation
- In the Airalo app, GO to My eSIMs.
- TAP the Details button on the eSIM you wish to install.
- TAP Install eSIM/Access Data.
- TAP the Direct, then TAP Install eSIM.
- TAP Yes.
- Once the eSIM has been successfully installed, GO to Settings.
- TAP Network & Internet.

- TAP the eSIM you installed.
- Turn ON the toggle buttons for Mobile Data and Roaming.
III. QR Code Installation
- In Settings, TAP Network & Internet.
- TAP the + icon next to SIMs.
- TAP Download a SIM Instead?
- TAP Next and SCAN the QR code found in the eSIM details in the Airalo app.
- TAP Download to install the eSIM.
- Once the eSIM download is finished, GO to Settings.
- Turn ON the toggle button to ensure the eSIM is Active.
- Turn ON the toggle buttons for Mobile Data and Roaming.
IV. Manual Installation
- In Settings, TAP Network & Internet.
- TAP the + icon next to SIMs.
- TAP Download a SIM Instead?
- TAP Next, and TAP Need help?
- TAP Enter it manually and ENTER or PASTE the code found in the eSIM details in the Airalo app.
- TAP Continue to install the eSIM.
- Once the eSIM is installed, TAP Settings.
- Turn ON the toggle button to ensure the eSIM is Active.
- Turn ON the toggle buttons for Mobile Data and Roaming.
Your eSIM profile should now be installed on your Google Pixel device.
